We are currently seeking a proactive and multi-skilled Maintenance Operative to join a residential apartment building in Sheffield city centre. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced handyman or maintenance professional looking to work in a fast-paced environment where delivering an excellent experience is key.
In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring maintenance and repair requests are completed efficiently and to a high standard, helping to maintain a safe, compliant, and well-presented living environment for .
Key Responsibilities
- Respond promptly to maintenance requests through internal reporting systems.
- Carry out a range of general maintenance tasks, including basic plumbing, decorating, and joinery repairs.
- Assist with both reactive maintenance and planned preventative maintenance (PPM) programmes.
- Conduct routine inspections of bedrooms, communal areas, and building facilities.
- Identify and rectify maintenance defects while proactively addressing health and safety concerns.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, inspections, and compliance checks.
- Provide a professional, friendly, and customer-focused service to .
