Your new company is a busy and steadily growing Kent-based main contractor seeking an experienced contracts manager on a permanent basis. Working across Kent and Greater London, the company focuses on public sector projects in healthcare, education and public buildings, with schemes up to £5 million. The firm operates from newly refurbished offices in mid-Kent, maintains a strong list of retained clients and has a full order book for the next 12 months.
Your new role as Contracts Manager will involve responsibility for 3-4 projects, reporting to the company directors. You will oversee all aspects of construction, leading commercial, procurement and delivery operations, managing the site management team, and coordinating with the commercial and technical teams. Your duties include programming, health & safety, client liaison, quality control and the day-to-day running of the schemes.
What you'll need to succeed: You should be an experienced contracts manager with a background in main contracting, ideally in healthcare, education, or commercial refurbishments. You must have managed multiple sites, be comfortable writing programmes, overseeing health & safety and leading client relations. This is a permanent role, suitable for a long-term career in Kent.
