We are currently seeking an experienced and qualified Vehicle Technician to join our client’s busy main dealership in Preston. This is an excellent opportunity to work with a respected dealer group representing leading automotive brands, offering career progression, manufacturer training, and great earning potential.
Key Responsibilities
- Carry out servicing, maintenance, and repair work on a range of vehicles in line with manufacturer standards.
- Diagnose faults accurately using diagnostic equipment and technical data.
- Complete all required paperwork and job cards to a high standard.
- Work efficiently to achieve individual and team targets.
- Adhere to health, safety, and environmental regulations at all times.
- Deliver exceptional service and maintain high levels of customer satisfaction.
Requirements
- NVQ Level 3 or equivalent qualification in Light Vehicle Maintenance and Repair (essential).
- Previous experience working as a Vehicle Technician or Motor Mechanic (main dealer experience).
- Full UK driving licence.
- Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills.
- A positive attitude with the ability to work well both independently and as part of a team.
