We are looking for a Service Architect to join a client based out of London to help deliver the service framework and model for an Azure Virtual Desktop with a focus on processes around Joiner-Mover-Leaver.

Key Responsibilities

  • Define the end‑to‑end service for AVD, including SLAs, support tiers, service catalogue entries, runbooks, and operational guidelines.
  • Create JML workflows, provisioning processes, access controls, and operational procedures aligned with ITSM standards.
  • Develop workflows for incident, problem, request, and change management relating to the Azure Virtual Desktop.
  • Work across multiple teams to ensure relevant governance.
  • Ensure service design aligns with Azure best practices and governance.

Skills needed to succeed

  • Strong understanding of Azure Virtual Desktop, Azure core services, and access management.
  • Proven experience designing or managing enterprise service models and operational workflows.
  • Knowledge of service transition/service introduction.
