Senior Quantity Surveyor to join our dynamic team in Boldon, overseeing projects across the North East.

In this pivotal role, you will implement best commercial practices to enhance profitability and financial performance on medium to large projects.

Your Key Responsibilities

As a Senior Quantity Surveyor, you will

  • Champion our safety-first culture in all project activities.
  • Mentor and guide Quantity Surveyors and Assistant Quantity Surveyors.
  • Review and interpret contract terms, identifying risks and opportunities.
  • Ensure compliance with contract aspects and liaise with project teams.
  • Manage the agreement process for any changes to contractual obligations.
  • Oversee cash flow forecasting and manage payment submissions.
  • Monitor and forecast costs and revenue throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Assist in the procurement and management of subcontractors.
  • Provide accurate reporting on costs, projections, and margins.
  • Build and maintain positive relationships with all stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with the project team to negotiate final account settlements.
  • Ensure all necessary records and reports are maintained.
  • Support any dispute resolution processes.
  • What We’re Looking For

To thrive in this role, you should have

  • Experience managing the commercial aspects of medium to large MEP/construction projects.
  • GCSEs in English and Maths or equivalent qualifications.
  • A relevant BSc/degree or equivalent, or a willingness to work towards one.
