In this pivotal role, you will implement best commercial practices to enhance profitability and financial performance on medium to large projects.
Your Key Responsibilities
As a Senior Quantity Surveyor, you will
- Champion our safety-first culture in all project activities.
- Mentor and guide Quantity Surveyors and Assistant Quantity Surveyors.
- Review and interpret contract terms, identifying risks and opportunities.
- Ensure compliance with contract aspects and liaise with project teams.
- Manage the agreement process for any changes to contractual obligations.
- Oversee cash flow forecasting and manage payment submissions.
- Monitor and forecast costs and revenue throughout the project lifecycle.
- Assist in the procurement and management of subcontractors.
- Provide accurate reporting on costs, projections, and margins.
- Build and maintain positive relationships with all stakeholders.
- Collaborate with the project team to negotiate final account settlements.
- Ensure all necessary records and reports are maintained.
- Support any dispute resolution processes.

To thrive in this role, you should have
- Experience managing the commercial aspects of medium to large MEP/construction projects.
- GCSEs in English and Maths or equivalent qualifications.
- A relevant BSc/degree or equivalent, or a willingness to work towards one.
