Your Responsibilities
- Safety First: Champion our safety-first message throughout all project activities.
- Compliance: Ensure adherence to legal and company policies in line with contractual obligations.
- Contract Management: Understand project contract terms, manage risks and opportunities, and identify changes in line with NG Bailey’s obligations.
- Record Keeping: Maintain comprehensive records to maximize contractual entitlements.
- Team Communication: Collaborate with operational teams on risk and contract terms, keeping a pulse on project status.
- Payment Applications: Prepare and submit applications to secure payment, substantiating compensation or variations.
- Sub-Contract Management: Manage sub-contract accounts through to final account settlement with support.
- Progress Monitoring: Control project progress with the operational team, providing accurate internal reporting.
- Project Reporting: Ensure timely availability of all project reports, applications, certificates, and payments.
- Negotiation: Negotiate to settle the project account with the client, with support.
What We’re Looking For
- Previous experience as a Quantity Surveyor, preferably with an M&E background.
- A degree or HNC level qualification, or significant relevant experience.
- Experience in change and subcontract management.
- Familiarity with JCT form of contract.
