Operating from multiple offices, the consultancy works on residential, commercial, retail and strategic land schemes, ranging from large scale regeneration projects to bespoke heritage developments. The team provides a full planning consultancy service, including site appraisals, planning strategy, feasibility advice, design input and local plan representations. Known for its collaborative and client focused approach, the business offers a supportive working environment where planners are encouraged to take ownership of projects, develop their expertise and contribute to innovative planning solutions.
Requirements
- MRTPI-accredited planner with strong private sector experience and knowledge of the local authority planning process.
- Proven ability to manage complex planning applications, including outline, full and reserved matters submissions.
- Experience preparing high-quality planning statements, Statements of Community Involvement, and other supporting planning documentation with minimal supervision.
- Excellent understanding of the development management and local plan process, with the ability to undertake site appraisals and provide strategic planning advice.
- Experience representing planning proposals at planning committees and managing planning appeals, including hearings and public inquiries.
- Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to develop innovative planning strategies, alongside a willingness to mentor and support junior colleagues.
