Start as a Senior Marine Cargo Broker and end up becoming the Head of Marine Cargo of a majorly popular Marine Broking house in London. This is a subject matter expert placement role, rather than strictly production. This is an opportunity to step in as the Marine Cargo subject matter expert within an already high-performing Hull, P&I & Liability broking team that’s seeing a real surge in cargo enquiries. Flat management structure with no corporate hierarchy, joining a great, buoyant marine broking team who all work together towards one goal.

You’d be:

  • Owning and shaping the cargo proposition internally
  • Building and deepening relationships with Cargo Underwriters across the market
  • Leading placements and becoming the go-to specialist in the team

There’s scope to travel, meet clients, and even produce business if that’s your thing, but it’s not a prerequisite. Plus, for the right person this opportunity has every potential to become a Head of Cargo position. The core focus here is your industry knowledge in the marine cargo market, your relationships with underwriters and your ability to broker well.

You will bring experience as a Marine Cargo Broker, you'll have solid underwriter relationships to bring to the table as well as a desire to work within a well-established, close-knit marine team. A tailored, significant package will be on offer depending on the experience you bring to the table. You'll also have the opportunity to earn a bonus as well as receive a suite of company benefits which includes BUPA health cover. A hybrid working arrangement is available (3 days in the office, 2 from home).
