Senior Health, Safety and CDM Manager required by a company that specialises in servicing commercial, industrial and public sector clients. This role is regional, supplying services to clients primarily across the Central Belt and is based within commutable distance to the Edinburgh office.

Responsibilities

  • Providing CDM advice and support to client teams
  • Attending design and project meetings as required throughout projects
  • Visiting project sites
  • Working to deadlines to ensure projects are completed efficiently and within budget
  • Reviewing construction phase plans
  • Leading bids and tenders
  • Planning, managing, monitoring and coordinating health and safety client projects, including identifying, eliminating or controlling foreseeable risks
  • Expanding service offering with safety services and acting as key interface between and liaising with client teams
  • Preparing and issuing proposals
  • Identifying regional business development opportunities generally and assisting with the growth of client base

Qualifications

  • Will ideally hold or be working towards CMIOSH accreditation
  • Will ideally hold a degree or higher-level qualification in a relevant health and safety or construction subject

Experience

  • Several years’ experience within the health and safety consultancy sector
  • Current senior or associate level with demonstrable strong regional market knowledge
  • Proven track record of providing CDM support and advice
  • Comprehensive knowledge of CDM Regulations 2015
  • Demonstrable experience in either construction site safety or design

Salary & Benefits
