A fast growing business in the Greater Manchester area is looking to increase its R&D capability for new and future projects. This company is looking to add a Senior Embedded Software Engineer offering the chance to work on some of the latest and coolest technology in the industry. The role of Senior Embedded Software Engineer reports to the Software Lead on a day-to-day basis working as part of a multi-disciplined team. The team consists of hardware, mechanical, software, test and validation engineers. This role is classed as full lifecycle, where you’ll be involved from specification, design, test, validation and delivery for manufacture. You’ll be working with external and internal partners to deliver highly complex solutions.
Responsibilities
- Full lifecycle involvement from specification to delivery for manufacture.
- Collaborate with hardware, mechanical, software, test and validation engineers.
- Work with external and internal partners to deliver highly complex solutions.
- Report to the Software Lead on a day-to-day basis.
Qualifications
- Degree qualified in Computer Science, Software, or Electronics.
- Embedded C/C++ programming expertise.
- Experience with Linux operating system.
- Knowledge of Python.
- Experience with microprocessors.
