Your Role
As a Senior Electrical Supervisor, you will be at the forefront of managing the safe installation of electrical services on our exciting projects. Collaborating with a dedicated team, you’ll lead electrical installations while supporting the broader Kier Mechanical & Electrical delivery model. This is your chance to apply your technical expertise to a variety of challenging and rewarding sectors, including custodial, commercial, and health & science.
Key Responsibilities
In this role, you will:
- Ensure all works are planned with suitable risk assessments and executed safely in line with Kier standards and UK law.
- Manage the installation of electrical services, ensuring compliance with specifications, costs, and timelines.
- Liaise with Engineers and Project Managers to coordinate site delivery and uphold quality control procedures.
- Guide and oversee other supervisors and operatives, fostering a collaborative ‘one team’ approach.
- Maintain accurate records of progress, materials, and site diaries to support effective project management.
What We’re Looking For
This role is perfect for you if:
- You possess technical skills in electrical services installation and safety, backed by a relevant industry-accredited qualification.
- You hold CSCS and SMSTS accreditation as a minimum.
- You have experience managing electrical installations on construction projects, ensuring compliance with standards.
- You communicate clearly, work collaboratively, and are committed to fostering a safe and inclusive workplace.
- You’re focused on quality, open to new ideas, and motivated to support your team in achieving collective goals.
