Job Description

Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced Senior Electrical Project Engineer to join our project delivery team on a prestigious £55 million MEP installation project in Central London.

Working for a leading MEP subcontractor, the successful candidate will take ownership of the electrical engineering delivery from design coordination through procurement, installation, commissioning, and handover

The role requires strong technical expertise, leadership capability, and commercial awareness to ensure the electrical package is delivered safely, on programme, within budget, and to the highest quality standard s. Key Responsibilit

  • ge. Coordinate design development and technical submissions with consultants, main contractor, and specialist subcontracto
  • rs. Review and manage electrical design information, ensuring buildability and compliance with project requiremen
  • ts. Lead technical workshops and design coordination meetin
  • gs. Ensure works are delivered in accordance with programme milestones and contractual requiremen
  • ts. Support the Project Manager in developing and maintaining installation programm
  • es. Review consultant and subcontractor drawings, specifications, and technical documentati
  • on. Manage RFIs, technical queries, and design change process
  • es. Coordinate BIM and design integration activities with other disciplin
  • es. Monitor design progress against procurement and construction requiremen
  • ts. Ensure compliance with current regulations, British Standards, and project specificatio
  • ns. Assist with procurement schedules and technical evaluations of suppliers and subcontracto
  • rs. Review technical aspects of subcontractor packages and supplier quotatio
  • ns. Support change management processes, including identification and valuation of variatio
  • ns. Monitor material procurement and equipment lead tim
  • es. Oversee site installation activities and ensure works are executed safely and efficient

  • ents Degree or HNC/HND in Electrical Engineering or Building Services Engineer
  • ing. Minimum 8–10 years' experience delivering large-scale MEP or electrical building services proje
  • cts. Proven experience on commercial, mixed-use, data centre, healthcare, or high-value residential developme
