Our client is a well‑established environmental consultancy with six offices across the UK, offering a wide range of multidisciplinary services. The Senior Ecologist will join the Manchester team, working closely with the ecology group to conduct protected species surveys and contribute to project delivery.

Responsibilities

  • Undertake protected species surveys.
  • Assist with the preparation of tenders and quotations.
  • Produce technical reports, including PEA reports, BNG reports, and protected species reports.
  • Manage small‑ to medium‑sized projects and support larger projects as required.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of industry experience.
  • Degree in Ecology, Environmental Management, or a related field.
  • Protected species license.
  • Full UK driving licence.
  • Knowledge of UK wildlife legislation and its application.
