We are seeking an experienced Senior Engineering Manager to lead globally distributed engineering teams within a Data & AI function, driving delivery across modern cloud and productivity platforms. This role is central to ensuring high-quality, predictable engineering outcomes while building strong capability across internal teams and external delivery partners.

About the Role

You will lead engineering squads responsible for data platforms, collaboration tooling, and low-code solutions, working across technologies such as Databricks, Microsoft Fabric, Azure, Power Apps, Power Automate, SharePoint, and Azure DevOps. The role is focused on enabling stable delivery, strong engineering practices, and continuous improvement across a complex, multi-vendor environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and develop global engineering teams across data platform, SharePoint, and Power Apps domains
  • Establish consistent engineering standards, sprint discipline, and delivery practices
  • Partner with Product, IT, and Digital Transformation teams to align priorities and delivery goals
  • Oversee external vendors to ensure quality, consistency, and value for money
  • Drive operational stability, including Level 2/3 support and service transition readiness
  • Build internal capability through coaching, mentoring, and structured development
  • Improve engineering efficiency across Databricks, Fabric, Azure, and broader tooling ecosystems
  • Champion a culture of continuous improvement, accountability, and collaboration

What You Bring

  • Proven experience leading multi-disciplinary engineering teams in complex delivery environments
  • Strong background in data engineering, cloud platforms, or enterprise platform engineering
  • Hands‑on familiarity with Azure ecosystem, Databricks, and Microsoft Power Platform tools
  • Experience managing multi‑vendor delivery models
  • Strong stakeholder management and communication skills at senior levels
  • Ability to build predictable delivery rhythms across multiple squads
  • Experience scaling engineering capability and maturing engineering practices
