We are seeking a highly commercial, relationship‑driven professional to lead business development and deal execution within the LNG shipping sector across Europe and Africa. This is a unique opportunity to take ownership of end‑to‑end LNG transport projects from originating opportunities and structuring commercial solutions through to contract negotiation and vessel delivery. This is not a traditional chartering role. It sits at the intersection of commercial strategy, project development, and client engagement, offering genuine influence over high‑value, long‑term LNG transport deals.
Key Responsibilities
- Business Development & Origination
- Identify and develop new LNG shipping opportunities across Europe and Africa
- Build and maintain strong relationships with LNG producers, traders, and energy companies
- Actively engage with the market to generate and convert new business leads
- Commercial Structuring & Deal Execution
- Lead the development of competitive commercial proposals for LNG transport projects
- Structure deals considering financing, chartering models, and tax efficiencies
- Manage tender processes from initial bid through to final award
- Lead complex commercial negotiations with clients and stakeholders
- Project Ownership
- Oversee the full lifecycle of LNG shipping projects
- Support newbuild vessel projects from concept through to delivery
- Ensure a seamless handover to asset management and operations teams
- Coordinate with internal stakeholders to deliver projects effectively
- Market Intelligence & Stakeholder Management
- Monitor LNG shipping markets, competitor activity, and emerging opportunities
- Maintain close relationships with brokers, partners, and internal global teams
- Provide strategic insights and updates to senior leadership
- Collaboration & Leadership
- Work closely with international teams across commercial, technical, and finance functions
- Mentor and support junior team members where required
About You

Key Experience
- Proven experience in LNG shipping, chartering, or energy transport
- Strong background in commercial negotiations and contract structuring
- Experience working on complex, multi‑stakeholder projects
- Exposure to tender processes, project development, or long‑term transport agreements
