Senior Civil Structural Engineer in Sheffield

Job Overview

We are looking for full‑time Senior Civil and Structural Engineers to join our newly established and growing team in Sheffield. The role will support a wide range of new build nuclear projects, including Hinkley Point C, Sizewell C, SMRs and future fusion reactor technologies. You will work a minimum of three days per week from a Power New Build office or client office.

Your Purpose

Your experience in any of the following would be beneficial to the role but not all are required to apply:

• Relevant professional experience derived from civil‑structural design and analysis (steelwork and reinforced concrete), research and development, project engineering or design consultancy.
• Coordination across multidisciplinary projects.
• Leadership and review of design of new building structures, and project ownership.
• Experience in highly regulated environments such as nuclear, power or rail.
• Collaboration from our offices and across client sites to meet time, cost and quality objectives.
• Bid and tender writing to win work.
• Management, leadership and mentoring of staff.
