Senior Building Surveyor – Enfield Residential, Social Housing & Public Sector Projects | Up to £75,000 + Benefits
I’m working with a highly respected, multi-disciplinary consultancy with a strong reputation across social housing, residential, and public sector work. Their projects have a real impact on communities, improving existing stock and delivering meaningful upgrades across housing and public assets. Due to sustained growth and a strong pipeline of instructions, I’m looking to appoint a Building Surveyor at Senior level.
The Role
- You’ll work across a broad mix of project and professional instructions, primarily within social housing and public sector portfolios, alongside wider public sector work.
- Typical work includes:
- Contract administration and project delivery (refurbishment and improvement schemes)
- Building surveys, condition surveys, and defect diagnosis
- Planned works and asset improvement programmes
- Dilapidations and technical reporting
- Specification writing and tender documentation
- Client advisory across housing stock and public buildings
You’ll have direct client contact and the autonomy to manage your own workload, with support from senior leadership where needed. There is also the opportunity to mentor junior surveyors and contribute to the continued growth of the team.
About You
- Experience in Building Surveying within a consultancy or client-side environment
- MRICS qualified, or working towards it
- Comfortable dealing with clients and managing your own work
- Experience across housing, residential, or public sector work is beneficial but not essential
- Motivated, reliable, and looking to progress
This role is intentionally flexible on level. Whether you’re stepping up into a Senior role or already operating at that level, the business can support you.
