Cooper Parry Finance Recruitment has been engaged by our multinational food and drink client to source a Finance Manager on a full‑time basis.
This maternity cover contract is offered on an initial 12‑month basis and is likely to be extended due to ongoing opportunities in the business.
This role will be based in North Aberdeenshire on a hybrid or fully remote basis.
The main purpose of the role is to support the UK & International sales team through commercial analysis, reporting and providing insights to ensure robust decision‑making and a clear understanding of financial implications.
Candidates must be available to start within one month’s notice.
The Opportunity
- Commercial analysis of initiatives, supporting the International distribution network and sales channels, including analysis of pricing, promotions and ROI.
- Production of weekly and monthly management information.
- Supporting the budget and forecasting process by producing templates, data and reports.
- P&L consolidation for international sales.
- Generating a rolling forecast to highlight ongoing trajectory.
- Trend analysis to identify risk and opportunity areas across the business and clients.
- Ensuring a coordinated approach to the forecast with commercial, supply chain and FP&A teams.
- Driving a collaborative working culture across finance and non‑finance functions.
- Background and Experience
- Degree qualified with a strong academic track record.
- Experience in a complex, fast‑paced environment.
- Desirable background in businesses undergoing rapid growth.
- Commercial awareness.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Excellent Excel capabilities and experience manipulating large volumes of data.
- Ability to prioritise and adapt to workload.
