Job Description

Agricultural Engineer (Workshop / Field).

Salary £40,000 - £47,000 plus company benefits, manufacturer‑led training, progression opportunities, and a company van.

Monday – Friday.

We are a well‑established, family‑run agricultural engineering and machinery business providing sales, servicing and repair solutions across Cheshire and surrounding regions.

Operating as both a machinery supplier and field service specialist, we support the farming sector with a range of leading agricultural equipment brands and specialist expertise in tractor and loader machinery.

Our team delivers workshop and on‑farm engineering support, from routine maintenance and breakdown response to pre‑delivery inspections and technical support for customers and the wider sales function.

Responsibilities

  • Service, repair and maintain a range of agricultural machinery in workshop and field environments.
  • Diagnose mechanical and hydraulic faults and carry out effective breakdown repairs on farm.
  • Complete pre‑delivery inspections on new machinery prior to customer delivery.
  • Respond to breakdowns and ensure timely, professional on‑site support.

Requirements

  • Experience in servicing and repairing agricultural machinery, tractors or similar equipment.
  • Ability to work independently in both field and workshop environments.
  • Full UK driving licence.
  • Commutable to Sandbach.
