  • TIG Welder – Days | Monday to Friday | Immediate Starts Available
  • Job Type: Temporary to Permanent / Ongoing Agency
  • Work Shift Pattern: Monday to Friday

About the Role

Freeway Recruitment is currently recruiting experienced TIG Welders on behalf of a well-established engineering and manufacturing client based in Manchester.

This is an excellent opportunity for skilled TIG Welders looking for stable, ongoing work with competitive rates of pay and the opportunity to secure a permanent position.

You'll be working with stainless steel, mild steel and aluminium, producing high-quality fabrications to engineering drawings.

Key Responsibilities

  • TIG welding stainless steel, mild steel and aluminium
  • Fabricating components from engineering drawings
  • Producing high-quality welds to customer specifications
  • Using hand and power tools safely
  • Inspecting completed welds to ensure quality standards are met
  • Working to production deadlines
  • Maintaining a clean and safe working environment
  • Following all health and safety procedures

Requirements

  • Previous TIG welding experience (minimum 2 years )
  • Ability to weld stainless steel to a high standard
  • Experience reading engineering drawings
  • Relevant TIG welding qualification (City & Guilds, EAL or equivalent) desirable
  • BS EN ISO 9606 coding advantageous but not essential
  • Good attention to detail and quality workmanship
