Summary
We are seeking a motivated Civil 3D Technician to support project teams in the use of Autodesk Civil 3D for civil engineering elements including drainage, roads, pavements, excavations, and cut and fill activities.
The role involves producing project‑specific Civil 3D content under the supervision of engineers and working within the project's Common Data Environment (CDE).
Location: Manchester or Glasgow. Work arrangement: Hybrid – 2 days working from home. Duration: 12 months. Rate: £45–£50 per hour.
Key Responsibilities
- Produce Civil 3D content for projects under engineer supervision.
- Work within the Common Data Environment (CDE) and support project teams.
- Develop and maintain 3D models for drainage, roads, pavements, excavations, and cut and fill activities.
- Ensure modelling follows industry standards and ISO 19650.
- Communicate effectively under pressure and meet deadlines.
- Required Skills & Experience
- Strong 3D modelling skills in Autodesk Civil 3D.
- UK eligibility for SC security clearance (mandatory).
- Attention to detail and ability to work independently and collaboratively.
- Experience with Navisworks and Autodesk Construction Cloud (ACC) – desirable.
- Knowledge of ISO 19650 and industry modelling standards – desirable.
- Professional registration (Eng Tech or similar) – desirable.
