Job Description
ECHO Personnel is recruiting an experienced Installation Electrician for a well‑established industrial electrical engineering company based in Rushden.
This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled and motivated electrician to join a reputable business with over 40 years of experience, offering a permanent position within a stable industrial and commercial installation environment.
Salary
Key Responsibilities
- Carry out industrial electrical installations across a range of customer sites including recycling, printing, farming, and processing plants.
- Install electrical supplies, lighting systems, distribution boards, and MCCB panels (up to 2000 amp systems).
- Work on control panels and emergency stop systems.
- Support electrical maintenance and EICR testing requirements when needed.
- Work both independently and as part of a team on installation projects.
- Deliver high standards of workmanship and customer service on all sites.
- Ensure all work is completed safely and in line with current regulations and standards.
Requirements
- Experience in industrial electrical installation work.
- 18th Edition City & Guilds qualification (essential).
- NVQ Level 3 / AM2 or equivalent (essential).
- ECS or CSCS card (essential).
- 2391 Testing & Inspection qualification (essential depending on client requirement).
- Ability to work at height.
- Full UK Driving Licence.
- Strong customer‑facing and communication skills.
- Ability to complete jobs from start to finish to a high standard.
