The Role:
- Design and develop advanced electrical schematics, ensuring accuracy and functionality.
- Analyse and optimise electrical systems for maximum performance, efficiency, and reliability.
- Define detailed system requirements to guide exceptional design outcomes.
- Produce and maintain precise documentation of schematics and electrical layouts.
- Select optimal cables and protective devices to guarantee safety and compliance.
- Advise on and review electrical component choices to support successful project delivery.
- Collaborate closely with engineering and project teams to achieve high-quality results.
- Contribute to a wide range of engineering tasks, demonstrating flexibility and adaptability.
- Actively participate in internal and external meetings, offering technical insight and expertise.
- Maintain organised, thorough documentation in line with local operating procedures.
What are we looking for in our next Electrical Design Engineer?
- HNC (or higher) in Electrical/Electronic Engineering.
- Strong team player with collaborative work ethic.
- Proven experience specifying electrical components with a detail-oriented approach.
- Solid knowledge of relevant electrical standards.
- Proficiency in MS Office.
- Quick learner with adaptable engineering skills to address varied design challenges.
- Experience in schematic capture and drawing review.

- Proficiency with Zuken E3, AutoCAD, SolidWorks or equivalent design tools.
