- Concrete Plant Supervisor
- Tunbridge Wells

As Plant Supervisor you will be responsible for liaising with customers, contractors, suppliers and internal contacts to ensure concrete is made inline to quality standards and customer expectations.
As Plant Supervisor you will be confident in using your own initiative and be a decision maker, as well as confident when speaking to stakeholders from drivers to senior management.
As an applicant for Plant Supervisor role, you may come from a production/manufacturing/waste management background, proven supervision skill set, experience in adhering to health and safety disciplines, key customer services and communication skill set.
Experience within the concrete industry is advantageous but not essential as training will be provided.
Job Duties
- Lead a busy concrete plant and ensure smooth daily operations.
- Produce concrete inline with quality standards to meet customer expectations.
- Liaise regularly with drivers and dispatch to ensure efficient batching and delivery.
- Monitor site performance and address operational issues promptly.
- Lean upon a wider group network during machinery shut down to fulfil orders.
- Manage stock controls, plant equipment and delivery records.
- Be responsible for managing the safety, health and environment standards on site.
Person Specification
- Excellent telephone manner and proven experience with a similar plant based role.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills are essential, along with an understanding of customer requirements.
- Excellent planning and organisation skills with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
- Computer literacy including Word and Excel.
