Development Engineer (Medical Equipment) £40,000 - £45,000 + Mon - Fri + Progression + Training + Benefits Rotherham
Are you a Development Engineer or similar with a background in the Medical Industry looking for a step‑up in your career? Do you want to work for a growing healthcare company that makes a real difference to people’s lives? Join a leading medical equipment manufacturer and supplier that has consistently grown year on year. The company provides medical equipment for domestic and commercial clients, including hoists, slings and other crucial devices. This varied role will see you responsible for the development and drawing of key products and components in both 2D and 3D using Solidworks. You will complete new design concepts, focus on continuous improvement of existing products, and be developed in the project management aspects of the lifecycle, including bill of materials, costings and rebranding. You will attend ECR meetings, produce technical files, documentation and support on all product queries.
Responsibilities
- Project Management of Existing and New Product Design
- Design using Solidworks and AutoCAD of Products and Components
- Continuous Improvement
- BOM's, Costings and Supplier Management
- Mon - Friday (Flexible Hours, 40 hr week)
Qualifications
- Development Engineer or similar
- Solidworks background
- Looking for a new challenge by running Projects
- Commutable to Rotherham
