The Role
- Verifying parts, assemblies, and sub-assemblies against engineering drawings and customer specifications
- Completing inspection records with full traceability
- Supporting production with batch verification and FAIRs (First Article Inspection Reports)
- Identifying and escalating non-conformances
- Participating in continuous improvement and new product introduction planning
What We’re Looking For
- Ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications
- Experience inspecting precision components and using inspection gauges
- Familiarity with CMM operation and sheet metal/fabricated parts
- HND or equivalent qualification
- Strong communication, organisational, and problem-solving skills
- Aerospace experience is a plus but not essential
Desirable Extras
- Knowledge of ERP/MRP systems (e.g., Javelin)
- Awareness of MSA, NDT, SPC, ISO/ASME standards
- CMM programming ability
