The Job:
- Build sub-assemblies from component level following schematics.
- Work to tight tolerances (-10 microns).
- Work on complex machine builds.
- Maintenance and refurbishment of heavy machinery.
- Working experience of hydraulics and pneumatics would be an advantage.
- Confident with bearings, gears, and machine alignment.
About you:
- Mechanically trained with the ability to build a component from start to finish.
- Experience of multi-axis precision machinery would be an advantage.
- Ability to read and understand technical drawings and schematics.
- Confidence and the ability to work in a precision engineering environment and the ability to work on bespoke and one-off items.
- Good all-round mechanical fitter with a confident understanding of precision fitting.
