We are working with a leading developer, who are looking to strengthen their strategic land team with an ambitious individual to work closely with the regional head of land and senior land & project manager, on a portfolio of major strategic land schemes. The role involves working on land acquisitions (inputting planning expertise), planning promotion, and early-stage development of projects. This role would suit someone with a good strategic land, planning or immediate land background, who is keen to work on the full life cycle of projects, supporting the Regional Head of Strategic Land by sourcing and assessing new opportunities, managing planning and appraisal processes, coordinating consultant teams, and ensuring high standards of quality, health and safety, financial control and reporting.
On offer is a salary of circa £70k - £80k plus package, including car allowance, bonus, pension, private healthcare etc. There is also some flexi working on offer.
Responsibilities:- Work current and future planning applications and promotion work
- Sourcing and securing new strategic land opportunities
- Development management of existing strategic land schemes
- Stay current with planning policy updates for local authorities across the South
- Degree qualified and MRTPI
- Experience working on planning applications for 50+ unit projects
- Experience with large, complex strategic land planning applications would be advantageous but not essential
