The Role

As we continue to expand and onboard more clients, we are seeking a Regulatory AI Architect with deep subject matter expertise in regulatory compliance and non-financial risk to help shape and deliver our solutions to our clients. This role is hands‑on and detail‑oriented, suited to an SME who can engage deeply in the technical and regulatory nuances while also building trusted relationships with senior client stakeholders.

Location: 5 days a week in office (Liverpool street, London, UK)

What You’ll Do

  • Be the technical expert. Interpret and break down complex regulations, translating them into clear, structured requirements, logic and frameworks.
  • Extract obligations and conduct compliance assessments, risk reviews, gap analyses.
  • Work with product and engineering teams to embed regulatory logic into AI models.
  • Review and validate AI agent outputs, serving as a Human-in-the-Loop to ensure accuracy and regulatory alignment.

What We’re Looking For

  • 3-8 years of experience in compliance within non-financial risk, especially with experience in regulatory compliance or related roles within financial services.
  • Backgrounds may include consultants who have worked with large financial services clients or compliance managers in financial institutions.
  • Candidates who additionally come from a legal background.
  • An individual contributor who is hands‑on and delivers high‑quality work in an efficient manner.
  • This is not an AML/FinCrime role and will not be suited for candidates with a primarily AML/FinCrime background.
  • Broad and varied compliance experience.
