About the Role
We are working with a well-established and growing groundworks and civil engineering contractor based in Cornwall. Due to continued expansion across the South West, they are looking to recruit an experienced Estimator to join their commercial team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone seeking long-term progression within a forward-thinking business that is entering an exciting phase of growth.
Key Responsibilities
- Preparing and submitting competitive tenders in line with company procedures
- Providing weekly updates on tender progress
- Liaising with buyers and internal teams regarding material enquiries
- Ensuring all enquiries are completed within agreed deadlines
- Communicating with relevant authorities where required
- Maintaining compliance with current health & safety legislation
- Supporting the wider team to ensure smooth business operations
- Ensuring all processes meet ISO, SMAS, CHAS and Achilles accreditation standards
- Potential for site visits where required

- Current or recent experience as an estimator with a groundworks contractor
- Able to commute to or relocate to Redruth, Cornwall area
