CNC Machine Operator / Setter - Evenings - 2 positions available


Location: Redhill, RH1 5NB


Salary: £27,000 - £30,000 per annum, depending on experience


Job Type: Permanent, Full Time



  • 4 days per week Mon-Thurs (3-day weekend)

  • Hybrid Evening shifts: 10:00-20:30 (40h/week) - 3 breaks 15/30/15


Please note due to the office location access to your own vehicle is required as the office is not readily accessible via public transport, free parking is provided on site.


About the role:



  • Preparing and operating CNC machines to perform tasks such as drilling, milling, turning etc.

  • Preparing and loading raw materials and parts into the machines

  • Inspecting and measuring finished products and comparing them with technical and quality requirements

  • De-burring and cleaning of finished parts as necessary

  • Emptying swarf trays as appropriate

  • Ensuring that every machine procedure is undertaken in accordance with the company guidelines

  • Ensuring all machines operated throughout the day together with surrounding work areas are kept clean and tidy at all times

  • Strictly adhering to all health and safety procedures

  • Demonstrating a strong team approach ensuring clear communication with colleagues at all levels

  • Adhering to SOP's (Standard Operating Procedures)


Whilst previous experience would be beneficial, we are looking for candidates with motivation and a passion for the industry, therefore we would be open to considering candidates with no experience who possess these qualities. Full Training will be given to the right candidate. Salary will be commensurate with the experience of the candidate.

  • Passion for manufacturing

  • Must be a team player and have the ability to work well with others

  • Must have a safety conscious mindset

  • Previous experience in CNC Machining is desired but not necessary

  • Previous experience in a manufacturing or hands-on role is desired but not necessary

  • Willingness to take on additional training as required by the business
