Structural Engineer (RC Frames / High Rise Residential) £47,500 - £54,000 + Bonus + Hybrid + Progression + Chartership Support Reading, Berkshire
Are you a Structural Engineer with knowledge of RC Frames or High Rise Residential buildings, looking to join a specialist consultancy working with blue‑chip clients that offer progression to associate positions and assistance through chartership? Do you want a role where you'll work autonomously within a smaller consultancy who work on exciting, large‑scale, high‑rise projects? This successful structural engineering consultancy has offices in the UK and overseas, and works on large‑scale, multi‑million pound projects across the residential and commercial sectors for a variety of well‑known clients. Due to their ongoing success, they are looking to grow their closely knit UK team. In this varied role you will work autonomously on a variety of residential and commercial projects creating structural designs and calculations. You'll also be responsible for managing projects, liaising within clients and representing the business. This role would suit a Structural Engineer or similar looking for a clear route to progress through to directorship, support through chartership and be respected to work autonomously; having ownership over interesting high‑rise residential projects from conception to completion.
The Role
- Creating structural designs for concrete and RC frames
- Working on High‑Rise Residential projects
- Liaising with clients to and managing projects from cradle to grave
- Hybrid working from a Reading‑based office
