We are currently seeking a 1st shift Process Technician at our Reading, PA Facility.

Responsibilities:

  • Purge antifreeze from tools
  • Assist in tooling assembly, disassembly, and maintenance
  • Remove form tool, trim tool, and stacker from machine
  • Install form tool, trim tool, and stacker in machine
  • Set rail positions, trim positions, and stacker positions
  • Troubleshoot process issues
  • Setup, operate, and troubleshoot automation
  • Document process settings
  • Perform full tool change and setup on Post Trim or Cut in Place

Qualifications:

  • High School diploma or GED required
  • Technical schooling a plus
  • 1-3 years of experience within a manufacturing environment, preferably in a food and beverage packaging industry
  • 1-3 years of experience demonstrating mechanical aptitude and worked on machines and/or tooling
  • Ability to use computers. Must be able to communicate using email.
  • Must be able to use computer applications including Word and Excel
  • Thermoforming experience is a plus
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work well with associates at all levels of the organization
  • Detailed problem solving and analytical thinking
  • Good written and verbal communications
  • Strong Technical and Mechanical skills
  • Ability to safely drive stand up and sit-down fork trucks
  • Basic proficiency in English including the ability to understand and execute instructions on the manufacturing floor
