Position Overview: We are looking for a reliable and hardworking Quarry Operative to join our Temple team. In this hands‑on role, you’ll help maintain conveyor belts, plant areas, and quarry infrastructure to keep operations running safely and efficiently. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys practical outdoor work, working with tools and machinery, and being part of a busy quarry environment while following strict health, safety, and environmental procedures at all times.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain and clean conveyor belts, plant areas, and walkways.
  • Dig out and remove material build‑up from under belts and around quarry plant.
  • Strim and clear vegetation to keep work areas safe and accessible.
  • Assist with conveyor maintenance, roller changes, belt repairs, and shutdown work.
  • Inspect belts and plant for wear or damage and report faults.
  • Support general quarry housekeeping and drainage clearing duties.
  • Follow all health, safety, and isolation procedures while working around heavy machinery.
  • Work closely with maintenance teams and operators to keep plant running safely and efficiently.
