We're supporting a leading UK-based organisation on the search for an experienced Contract Project Manager to drive delivery across a number of high-priority transformation initiatives. This is an immediate requirement, ideal for a hands-on, delivery-focused PM who can step into a complex environment and quickly bring structure, pace, and stakeholder confidence.

The Role

  • Implementation of a new SaaS-based system (including vendor selection and RFP process)
  • Delivery of an internal solution within a function that has experienced previous delivery challenges
  • This is a high-visibility role, requiring strong stakeholder engagement and the ability to stabilise and deliver at pace.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead end-to-end project delivery (design implementation service acceptance)
  • Establish and manage governance, plans, RAID logs, and reporting
  • Drive stakeholder engagement, including senior stakeholders
  • Support business case development
  • Manage vendor selection and implementation (RFP process)
  • Oversee testing phases, including UAT
  • Identify and manage risks, issues, and dependencies
  • Bring structure, clarity, and momentum to projects that require direction

Delivery Environment

  • Hybrid delivery model (Agile + Waterfall)
  • Preference for a pragmatic Agile mindset (not overly process-driven)
  • Use of tools such as Kanban boards
  • Environment where stakeholder confidence and delivery credibility are key

What We're Looking For

Essential

  • Strong track record delivering SaaS / technology implementations
  • Experience managing UAT and testing cycles
  • Excellent stakeholder management, including senior stakeholders
  • Ability to hit the ground running and operate autonomously

Desirable

  • Life Sciences and/or Consultancy background
  • Experience in Microsoft environments (M365, SharePoint, etc.)
  • Experience in regulated or complex organisations
  • Exposure to hybrid Agile delivery environments

Contract Details

  • Duration: 3 months
  • Start: Immediate
  • Location: London/ remote (hybrid)
  • Rate: £450 - £550 per day
  • IR35: Likely Outside IR35 (pending assessment)
