Location: Filton, Bristol (60% onsite – flexibility required depending on project needs)

Contract Duration: Until 31 December 2026 (possible extension)

Hourly Rate: £45.00 per hour (Umbrella) £33.64 per hour (PAYE)

Working Pattern: 35 hours per week (overtime paid at standard rate)

The Role

An exciting contract opportunity has arisen for an experienced Lab Test Means Project Manager to support a major engineering and test programme within the aerospace sector. You will play a key role in delivering the infrastructure required for the construction, commissioning and operation of a Hydrogen Test Facility, alongside multiple test benches supporting a fuel systems test programme. The role sits within a large, multi-engineering and test environment and requires strong stakeholder engagement across UK and European sites.

Key Responsibilities

  • Full accountability for time, cost and quality delivery of assigned projects
  • Definition and ownership of Statements of Work
  • Establishing and managing project governance and structure
  • Driving project execution using agreed KPIs and metrics
  • Active management of risks and opportunities
  • Reporting progress and status to internal and external stakeholders
  • Capturing lessons learned and driving continuous improvement
