We are seeking a technically strong Project Engineer / Technology Engineer to support innovation projects across the HS1 asset base. The role will focus on automation, digital technologies, and improving maintenance efficiency, safety, and sustainability.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver innovation and technology projects across HS1
- Support automation of inspection and maintenance activities
- Implement emerging technologies and digital solutions
- Drive operational efficiency and asset performance improvements

Essential Skills & Experience
- Experience delivering technology or innovation projects
- Exposure to drones and/or remote condition monitoring
- Strong technical mindset with software/systems understanding
- Ability to work autonomously and engage senior stakeholders
- Experience working in a regulated engineering environment
Desirable
- Rail, infrastructure, or asset management experience
- Exposure to AI, automation, digital inspection, or smart technologies
- Knowledge of One Big Circle, AiVR, or Transmission Dynamics
Qualifications
- Degree in Engineering, Technology, Software, or Computer Science (desirable)
- Chartered Engineer status, or working towards
