About the role

The Project Engineer is a brand-new role due to growth of a customer account in the Defence sector.

We are looking for an experienced individual adept at interpreting technical specification documents, dealing with enquiries and customer requirements.

You will bring your project management skills with demonstrable experience of managing a range of projects through to completion.

Excellent problem‑solving skills are key to develop actionable solutions.

You will be highly organised and have excellent communication skills.

Experience working with engineering consumables and critical spares, along with a background from a similar industry – manufacturing, machinery engineering or MRO – is required.

Candidates must hold a relevant professional qualification.

  • Seasoned Project Engineer ideally from similar sectors such as MRO, Defence, Engineering or Manufacturing
  • Excellent track record of managing projects through to completion
  • Ability to interpret technical specification documents and develop implementation plans
  • Excellent communicator – linking site teams, engineers, suppliers and internal colleagues
  • Excellent knowledge of quality and compliance standards, ensuring they are strictly adhered to
  • Hold a relevant technical qualification
  • High level of care and attention to detail
  • Willingness to go the extra mile for the customer
