The studio is looking for someone with strong UK housing experience who enjoys working on thoughtful, design led residential projects at scale, with a focus on buildability, placemaking and long-term social value. This is not a high-end residential position. The focus is on complex, commercially aware housing-led developments and well-considered urban living environments. The team is particularly interested in Architects with around 3 - 5 years’ experience, though experienced Part II Assistants and Project Architects with strong housing backgrounds will also be considered.

The Role

  • You will work across the design and delivery of large scale residential and mixed use schemes, contributing to projects from early stages through to planning and technical coordination.
  • Working closely with senior team members, consultants and local authorities, you will support the development of well designed, sustainable and policy led housing projects across a variety of scales and typologies.
  • The role would suit someone collaborative, technically confident and comfortable working within a fast paced studio environment.

Responsibilities

  • Contribute to the design and delivery of large scale mixed tenure housing schemes.
  • Produce high quality architectural information and coordinated Revit models.
  • Support planning submissions, design reports and presentation materials.
  • Coordinate with consultants, contractors and wider project teams across all stages.
  • Ensure projects respond to London housing policy, planning guidance and residential standards.
  • Contribute to the delivery of sustainable, commercially viable and well-resolved housing projects.
  • Work collaboratively within multidisciplinary project teams.

Requirements

  • Qualified Architect, Project Architect or experienced Part II Assistant.
  • Strong experience across UK residential architecture, ideally large-scale or mixed-tenure housing.
  • Experience working on schemes of 100+ homes, ideally within London.
  • Good understanding of UK housing standards, London Plan policy and residential delivery.
  • Proficiency in Revit is essential.
  • Strong communication and coordination skills.
  • Collaborative and proactive approach within team environments.
  • Ideally around 3 - 5 years’ professional experience.

Benefits

  • Join a globally recognised, design led architecture studio.
  • Work on significant residential projects across London and the UK.
  • Collaborative and experienced housing team environment.
  • Hybrid working and competitive benefits package.
  • Opportunity to develop within a large international practice.
