We are seeking a hands-on Production Supervisor with strong leadership and problem-solving skills to oversee and coordinate operations in a uniform production facility in Reading, PA. The role ensures production runs smoothly, meets targets, and collaborates with the Sewing Supervisor to guarantee quality and timely delivery.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and supervise daily production operations to meet KPIs and output targets.
- Work hands-on alongside production associates to support daily goals.
- Schedule and manage workflow for 2nd shift employees.
- Monitor production processes and make real-time adjustments for efficiency.
- Ensure all safety procedures are followed on the production floor.
- Oversee equipment and machinery maintenance and coordinate repairs.
- Manage quality control processes to ensure high standards and customer satisfaction.
- Supervise embroidery file execution to ensure correct logos and specifications.
- Coordinate with Sewing Supervisor on customization, alterations, and order completion.
- Move across various production areas as needed to support operations.
Job Requirements
- Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).
- Experience with warehouse management systems (WMS) and shipping software.
- Prior experience working on a production floor is preferred.
- Knowledge of sewing and embroidery is an asset.
