We are currently recruiting for a Production Planner on a permanent basis to be responsible for short, medium and long term production schedules to meet customer needs whilst maximising efficiency.
Your main duties will include:
- Use of ERP system to create weekly and daily production schedules based on customer orders, forecasts, and material availability.
- Adjustment of schedules.
- Ensure schedules are accurate, stable and attainable.
- Support continuous improvement and Lean planning.
- Ensure production plans align with material availability, equipment capacity and labour capability.
- Maintain planning data.
- Work closely with procurement.
- Root cause analysis of any missed schedules.
- Key user for the planning ERP system.
The ideal candidate will have experience of production planning in a production/manufacturing based environment with excellent analysis and communication skills. You will have also worked with a range of ERP systems. This role is 5 days per week office based.
