Job Description About the Company This role sits within the EMEA Legal Team as an individual contributor, forming part of a globally distributed product compliance function with colleagues based across Europe, the United States, and Asia.

The position works in close coordination with this international team to deliver consistent, high-quality compliance outcomes across all markets SHEIN operates in.

About the Role The role is responsible for a broad range of compliance activities including advising on evolving regulatory developments, enabling market access, reporting compliance trends, managing first-party product investigations and recalls, managing third-party recalls, and auditing product compliance on the SHEIN Marketplace.

Responsibilities Lead Product Compliance Standards Enable Market Access Report Compliance Trends Manage First-Party Product Investigations and Recalls Manage Third-Party Product Recalls Audit Product Compliance on the SHEIN Marketplace Drive Product Safety Enhancement Qualifications A degree in a relevant area (law, science, or engineering), combined with a minimum of 7 years of relevant experience in consumer product compliance.

Required Skills Full professional proficiency in English.

Thorough understanding of the roles played by manufacturers, private label retailers, third-party platforms, government authorities, industry associations, and voluntary standards committees in product safety and product recalls.

Demonstrated ability to interpret complex regulations and standards, and to quickly assimilate, assess, and act on new information.

Exceptional programme and project management skills, with a track record of driving projects to completion under tight deadlines.

Experience leading or coordinating multi-jurisdictional compliance projects and managing external advisors.

Strong influencing and communication skills β€” able to translate technical regulatory requirements into clear, actionable guidance for non-specialist business partners.

High degree of independence, initiative, and sound judgement; commercial and pragmatic in approach while maintaining strong professional accountability.

Self-starter with an entrepreneurial, "roll up your sleeves" attitude.

Flexibility to work across time zones in collaboration with teams in EMEA, the US, and Asia.

Skills Experience managing product recalls across multiple countries.

Familiarity with compliance management platforms or product safety tracking tools.

Proficiency in Mandarin (not essential, but advantageous given the global nature of the supply chain).

Pay range and compensation package: This role will require occasional travel within the EMEA region, including for regulatory engagement, team meetings, and audits.

International travel may also be required from time to time.
