Role
- Maintain and retain existing approvals including ISO9001, AS9100 and customer‑specific approvals
- Improve compliance with customer requirements across all relevant processes
- Lead internal, external and supplier audits
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives across compliance systems
- Conduct compliance checks and approvals at customer enquiry and order stages
- Implement and maintain regulatory compliance systems (e.g. ethical sourcing, export requirements)
- Deliver training and raise awareness to support compliance with customer expectations
- Create and maintain documentation to evidence compliance
- Monitor associated processes to ensure ongoing conformity and suitability
Requirements
- Proven experience managing Quality processes (Essential)
- Proven experience in Environmental and Health & Safety Management Systems and/or environments
- Strong document writing experience to support compliance systems
- Good understanding of engineering processes and technical specifications
- Demonstrable experience improving systems, with a focus on compliance management
- Proven team player with a collaborative approach
- Customer‑facing experience
- Proficient in Microsoft IT packages (Essential)
- Commercial and strategic awareness within manufacturing or a similar industry
- Excellent attention to detail (Essential)
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Full UK driving licence (Essential)
- Ability and willingness to travel outside the UK
Hours of work: Monday to Thursday 08:00–16:30 and Friday 08:00–13:00.
