Role Overview

On behalf of our client, we are seeking a Quality Inspector to join their Quality Assurance team. The role involves working as part of a team of inspectors to verify products against engineering drawings, technical specifications, and defined quality criteria, in line with international aerospace standards. The successful candidate will support a fast‑paced manufacturing environment and play a key role in ensuring product conformity and customer satisfaction throughout various stages of build.

Key Responsibilities

  • Inspect sub‑assemblies and major products across multiple build stages
  • Verify product conformity against engineering drawings, specifications, and quality criteria
  • Use a range of measuring equipment to assess compliance
  • Work closely with production teams to identify non‑conformances
  • Ensure inspection activities align with aerospace standards and customer requirements
  • Support continuous improvement within the Quality function

Mandatory Requirements

  • Ability to interpret engineering drawings and written specifications
  • Proven experience inspecting products against defined criteria using measuring equipment
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to work effectively with cross‑functional teams
  • Previous experience in an aerospace manufacturing environment
  • Good understanding of Quality Assurance within aerospace manufacturing

Desirable

  • Knowledge of AS9100, AS9102, and CAA Part 21G standards
  • Previous quality inspection experience within aerospace
  • Familiarity with aerospace manufacturing processes

Preferred Qualifications

  • Relevant Engineering and/or Quality qualifications (highly advantageous)

Working Hours

Monday - Thursday: 07:30 - 16:15
Friday: 07:30 - 16:00
Every other Friday is a non‑working day (9‑day fortnight)
