We are partnered with one of the leading Microsoft IT Support companies in Cambridge, looking to hire a confident and capable IT Support Specialist to join their growing operation.
As an IT Support Specialist you will play a crucial role in resolving complex technical issues and providing exceptional IT support to clients, both on and off‑site.
Responsibilities
- Diagnose and resolve escalated technical issues that could not be resolved by 1st and 2nd line support.
- Provide expert‑level guidance to junior support staff and assist them with troubleshooting and problem‑solving.
- Support 1st and 2nd line tickets when needed to meet business requirements.
- Travel to client sites to resolve technical issues that cannot be resolved remotely.
- Install, configure, and troubleshoot hardware, software, and network components.
- Conduct system audits and provide comprehensive reports on IT environments.
- Assist clients with IT infrastructure upgrades, migrations, and new system deployments.
- Provide on‑site training to clients as required.
Qualifications
- Microsoft Certified.
- Friendly, outgoing nature with strong problem‑solving skills.
- Ability to drive and travel to client sites.
- Experience with hardware and networking support preferred.
This is a Monday to Friday position with normal office working hours. The successful candidate will have the opportunity for career progression within the company.
