Job Description
Salary: £33,500-£35,000 per annum (pro rata)Location: TorfaenJob type: Part-time, FTCHours: 25-30 hours per week
We are currently recruiting for an experienced Document Controller to support operations. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the flow, accuracy, and compliance of project documentation, working closely with the internal teams and external clients to ensure information is controlled, up to date, and correctly distributed.
Key responsibilities:
- Register, manage, and file all incoming and outgoing project documentation and drawings
- Coordinate the flow of information between clients, site teams, and designers
- Carry out internal checks and audits to ensure document control procedures are followed
- Use document control platforms including Aconex and Autodesk Construction Cloud (ACC) on Tier 1 projects
- Manage electronic filing, distribution, archiving, and access control via SharePoint
- Ensure updates and new revisions are communicated clearly and promptly
Skills and experience required:
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage and prioritise a varied workload
- A minimum of 2-3 years' experience in a similar document control role
- Previous exposure to technical drawings (advantageous but not essential)
- Excellent IT skills, particularly across Microsoft Office applications
