The predicted salary is between 40000 - 45000 £ per year.

Location: PL Postcode. Sector: Social Housing / Housing Association. Position: Qualified Domestic Gas Engineer.

The successful candidate will be responsible for carrying out servicing, repairs and maintenance within domestic social housing properties on a Housing Association contract.

Key Responsibilities

  • Carry out annual Gas Safety Checks (LGSR)
  • Fault finding and repairs on central heating systems
  • Deliver a high level of customer service, ensuring tenants receive excellent care
  • Adhere to all health & safety regulations, including risk assessments, safe systems of work and COSHH records

Requirements

  • Minimum of 2 years’ experience with gas qualifications
  • Extensive experience in servicing boilers and gas appliances, strong fault finding, diagnostic and repair skills
  • In-date ACS qualifications, including CKR1 & HTR1
  • Full UK driving licence
  • No unspent criminal convictions (DBS check to be carried out on offer of employment)

Salary & Benefits

  • 42.5 hours per week (Monday to Friday)
  • Additional overtime and weekend work available at enhanced rates

  • Salary: £40,000 - £45,000 per year (DOE)
  • Out-of-hours call‑out rota (1 week in 4)
  • OTE £50,000+ per annum
