Job DescriptionAssistant Quantity Surveyor Plymouth Temporary to Permanent Immediate Start Sphere Solutions are working with an established construction business to recruit an Assistant Quantity Surveyor to support an Senior QS on a large residential development in Plymouth. This is an excellent opportunity for an Assistant Quantity Surveyor or Junior QS looking to develop their commercial experience, gain exposure to a major housing scheme and progress their career within an established business. Initially offered on a temporary basis for the first month, the intention is to move to a permanent position for the right candidate.
Role
- Supporting the Senior Quantity Surveyor with the commercial management of a large-scale residential development.
- Assisting with the management of infrastructure and groundworks packages.
- Supporting cost control, valuations and subcontractor management.
- Gaining hands-on experience across a range of commercial activities.
- Working closely with the Senior QS to develop your skills and take on increased responsibility.
About You
- Experience in an Assistant Quantity Surveyor, Junior QS or similar commercial role.
- An interest in residential construction, infrastructure or groundworks.
- Keen to learn, develop and progress within a commercial team.
- A proactive approach with good communication and organisational skills.
