Construo Recruitment is working in partnership with a well-established and rapidly growing construction business to recruit an Electrical Project Coordinator. Based in Peterborough, this is an excellent opportunity to join a highly respected contractor delivering electrical solutions across major projects including data centres, universities, and healthcare facilities. You will play a key role in coordinating both temporary and permanent electrical works across multiple live sites, ensuring projects are delivered safely, efficiently, and to a consistently high standard.

Key Responsibilities

  • Attend project start-up meetings and review project specifications
  • Coordinate labour, materials, and resources across multiple sites
  • Produce and submit regular progress reports
  • Monitor project budgets and support purchasing activities
  • Track project performance and programme delivery
  • Liaise with clients, contractors, suppliers, and internal teams
  • Ensure materials are ordered and delivered in line with project timelines
  • Attend site meetings where required
  • Assist with preparing and submitting quotations for new works

Requirements

  • Previous experience in a Project Coordinator or Project Management role
  • Strong background within the electrical sector
  • Excellent organisational and time management skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, changing environment
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to engage stakeholders at all levels
