All kinds of labouring, scaffolding, roofing or similar experience considered.

Location: Penrith, Cumbria.

Salary: £15 - £20 per hour, up to £41,600 annually.

Employment: Full‑time, Permanent, 40 hours per week.

The company is a well‑established and continuously growing renewable energy business in Cumbria, looking to expand its installation team with a Solar Installer. This is an excellent opportunity to join a forward‑thinking company operating across both domestic and commercial projects, with a strong pipeline of work in the region.

The Solar Installer will work an 8‑to‑5 PM shift, starting from the office and heading to site with a Solar Electrician, travelling to sites in a company van.

Key Responsibilities

  • Installing solar panel systems on roofs along with their mounting structures.
  • Supporting electrical wiring and connecting system components (full training provided).
  • Carrying out work safely at height and in various outdoor conditions.
  • Ensuring all installations comply with relevant safety regulations and industry standards.
